Effective Site Characterization requires experience, knowledge of geology, and an understanding of the nature of the chemicals released. In some instances a site requires multiple drilling events to characterize a release. When hiring the experienced professionals at Partner, you can be assured that the value of the client’s dollar is of utmost concern and that our technical expertise is being applied with this in mind.

Phase II Environmental Testing
A Phase II applies geology, engineering, drilling technologies, chemistry, and more to an environmental detective story.
We know because we’ve done thousands of them. We’ve tested soil and groundwater for every contaminant imaginable. Before starting any Phase II, we make sure we understand our client’s goal. We design our subsurface investigations to stand the most intense scrutiny of everyone involved including peers, lenders, and regulators, as we understand that there are multiple parties relying on our Phase IIs.
Phase III Site Characterization
If our Phase II determines that contamination exists, our clients ask:
- How big is it?
- How much will it cost to cleanup?
We get those answers in a Phase III. Phase IIIs require deeper drilling, more careful examination of lithology, more attention to eventual regulatory requirements, and more strategic boring placement. Upon completion of the Phase III, using the current regulations as a guide, our engineers design a remedial cost estimate that allows our clients to understand the problem.
