Professional Civil Engineer (PE):
Andrew Atry, PE is a Senior Project Manager responsible for overseeing various geotechnical investigations for Partner’s wide variety of clients in the west region. He has worked on a variety of high-profile projects in the west region including hospital, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and airport projects.
With more than a decade of experience in geotechnical engineering, Mr. Atry supports the team in both the design and construction phases including designing geotechnical subsurface exploration programs, developing subsurface profiles, supervising the field investigations, interpreting and presenting geotechnical laboratory results, conducting design calculations, preparing both geotechnical design recommendations and construction considerations reports, and drafting proposals and contract documents. His design and construction experience includes shallow foundations, deep foundations (driven and drilled piles), retaining wall evaluations, pavement design and placement, Support of Excavation (SOE) design and installation, and stormwater infiltration studies and design. He also performs design calculations for pile capacity (axial and lateral), bearing capacity, soil liquefaction and settlement analyses, and drywell infiltration rates and design.
