Doug Knight, Technical Director with Partner Engineering and Science, Inc., has over thirty-five years of technical and administrative leadership and business development experience in environmental assessments, property condition assessments, climate resiliency/ESG, and construction-related services in support of commercial real estate (CRE) throughout the United States.
Knight began his property assessment & engineering consulting career as an environmental project manager and advanced into programmatic roles to support a variety of environmental and property issues for industry including federal government, solid waste management, airports, logistics, telecommunications, and healthcare. Moving further into a corporate leadership role, Knight managed the business development and client coordination for many large clients with national footprints. In his previous role, Knight evolved into the national director for equity services supporting the acquisition process of a wide variety of asset classes including multifamily, medical office, senior housing, student housing, retail, industrial, office, and many others. He has also served as a thought leader for climate resiliency and ESG program development, California’s SB-721 technical direction, PFAS program creation, and several service line/client deliverable development and refinement.
Knight’s professional development has molded him into a well-rounded, multi-faceted leader of client solutions supporting due diligence and property management aspects of CRE, including complex, comprehensive property assessments for nearly all commercial asset classes supporting nearly all property stakeholders, including client types from Fortune 500 companies, REITs, institutional investors, life insurance companies, national and regional banks, attorneys, healthcare, all levels of government. Leading a team of multi-disciplinary engineers and architects, Knight has lead thousands of projects in over 45 states in the US and several foreign countries.
