Victoria Cardona, an Industrial Hygiene consultant, is a Senior Project Manager at Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. Her responsibilities include managing Industrial Hygiene projects such as asbestos, lead, mold, and radon surveys, with an emphasis on radon mitigation. In addition, she performs limited asbestos surveys, radon testing as required per the scope of work, and radon mitigation.
Ms. Cardona provides technical expertise for radon services and consulting nationwide, specifically radon measurement and mitigation in multifamily and healthcare buildings. She assists with providing industry standard pricing, testing and installation protocols, and recommendations within the organization for diverse properties specific to client’s due diligence needs. And provides further consultation to clients regarding effective testing strategies and mitigation solutions.
Ms. Cardona is experienced at performing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), including Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and Housing and Urban Development properties, Transaction Screen Assessments, Environmental Desktop Reports, Records Search and Risk Assessments as well as Historical Records and Database Reviews for residential, industrial and commercial properties.
Ms. Cardona has conducted assessments for numerous large scope projects including multi-family residential properties throughout Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Puerto Rico for large financial institutions, small banks and private investors. She has also conducted assessments on large office buildings in downtown metropolitan areas, such as Houston, Texas, Dallas, Texas and Austin, Texas, which are known for historical manufacturing/industrial use and associated underground tanks and subsequent remedial activities. She has conducted an oil well observation assessing the quality of 50 oil derricks over a 30-mile radius. Ms. Cardona works closely with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to obtain environmental significant documentation regarding facility registrations and correspondence information, such as underground storage tank removal and subsequent subsurface investigations, not only for her own projects but for other assessors and project managers for Partner. Furthermore, Ms. Cardona is hard-working, diligent, flexible and punctual as well as client conscientious.
Ms. Cardona has worked on numerous sites occupied by machine shops, auto repair facilities, manufacturing plants, distribution facilities, as well as undeveloped properties intended for residential development. Her experience performing environmental assessments is a proven asset in identifying potential environmental hazards as well as proper storage and disposal of chemicals.
She possesses extensive expertise in developing and overseeing Radon Mitigation Health and Safety Plans (HASP) and Worker Safety Plans, as well as adeptness in proposal creation and management. Additionally, she excels in the oversight of Operation, Maintenance, and Monitoring Plans (OM&M), along with proficient management of templates. Her skill set includes a comprehensive understanding of construction blueprints and electrical specifications relevant to radon mitigation projects.
