Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is thrilled to announce the addition of Dave Sawicki PG, CPG to our team as the Director for Environmental Solutions – Central Region. With over 32 years of extensive experience in environmental consulting, Sawicki brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in various domains, including brownfield redevelopment, decommissioning, remediation, due diligence, underground storage tank management, vapor mitigation, asbestos, and lead-based paint consulting, indoor air quality assessments, emergency response/disaster recovery management, EHS, and NEPA compliance.

Mr. Sawicki’s impressive career spans across several diverse sectors, including manufacturing, petroleum, mining, transactional services, large-scale natural disaster response, CBRNE emergencies, utilities, transportation, and collaboration with local, state, and federal government entities. Notably, Mr. Sawicki serves on the board of the Illinois Association of Environmental Professionals, showcasing his commitment to the industry. His recent white paper, “PFAS, Due Diligence, and Real Estate Development,” underscores his thought leadership in addressing contemporary environmental challenges.
Throughout his career, Sawicki has demonstrated his ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in highly sensitive and time-critical situations. His project management roles have covered a spectrum of environmental challenges, including overseeing the redevelopment of commercial and industrial properties in the Chicago area conducting vapor intrusion studies, and managing the closure of abandoned oil wells for the US EPA Region 5, and managing a multi-million-dollar redevelopment project in Toledo, Ohio.
Mr. Sawicki’s commitment to environmental excellence is further evident in his involvement in community projects, such as the environmental assessment of the proposed Bicentennial Park Fountain in Joliet, Illinois, and Managing the environmental design and oversight during the demolition of the original Cook County Department of Corrections facility referred to as “Divisions 1 and 1A”. His dedication to environmental stewardship and his extensive project portfolio make him an invaluable addition to Partner.
