City Wide Health and Safety Compliance Services — Elizabeth, NJ

About the Project

The City of Elizabeth retains Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. to assist in ensuring continued compliance with the Public Employees Occupational Safety and Health (PEOSH) regulations, and the City’s overall Health and Safety Management program for their employees. This includes reviewing and updating the written health and safety programs, conducting the required training, and on-going compliance audits to identify issues of non-compliance and implement corrective action.

In our current support role to the City’s Health and Safety Office, we provide the following services:

• Compliance with POESH Written Programs and applicable training to include:
  • Hazard Communication Standard
  •  Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout) Standard – Confined Space Standards
  • Bloodborne Pathogens Standard 
  • Personal Protective Equipment Standards 
  • Powered Industrial Trucks – Respiratory Protection Standard 
• Regulatory Compliance and Loss Prevention Audits
• Development of the safety committee structure and continued participation 
• Accident Investigation  Regulatory Agency Liaison 
• Development of Loss Prevention presentations and training 
• Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Management Plans and Investigations 
• Onsite Health, Safety and Environmental Regulatory Compliance  
• Right to Know Services
