Partner was engaged by a private renewable energy developer to perform Independent Engineering services, which included an Independent Construction Review with Site Inspection and Punchlist Report, for a 0.9 MW ground-mounted solar installation on a 2-acre capped landfill in the Town of Hillsborough, New Hampshire. The system utilizes 2,698 Neo Solar Power panels, 8 Delta inverters, and is mounted to a Gamechange Solar fixed-tilt poured-in-place-concrete ballasted racking system with a 25° tilt.
The Town is leasing the land, which creates a revenue stream, and is receiving a rebate from the owner of the solar array. This project is estimated to create $1.2 million in energy savings.
