Since 2017, Partner has been assisting the Archdiocese of Los Angeles (the Client) with its capital planning and asset management needs. The portfolio is comprised of 300+ schools, administrative buildings, and buildings of worship in Southern California and the Greater Los Angeles area.
To help the Client optimize its limited resources, Partner has provided cost-effective strategies and delivered services including Facility Condition Assessments, Roofing Assessments, Asset Data Collection, Energy Studies, and Seismic Risk Assessments, which helped set a baseline for capital planning for this portfolio.
The Client’s portfolio is geographically scattered, with structures that vary in use, construction methods, materials, and conditions. Some of the Mission sites are historically and architecturally significant and include some of the oldest buildings in California. They were built using Adobe clay blocks, which required a specialist team of assessors. To efficiently collect data from these diverse buildings and ensure that the data captured would support the Client’s objectives, Partner developed a data set based on key performance indicators and metrics identified by the Client. Then, Partner’s team of asset data experts and trained field techs were deployed with Partner’s digital field collection tool, which was pre-programmed to ensure consistent and complete capture of all relevant data points at each site. This method acts as built-in quality control to ensure that complete and quality data is imported into the Sitelynx dashboard for the Client’s review and analysis.
