ASTM E2557-07 Standard – Earthquake Probable Maximum Loss (PML)

The ASTM E2557-07 Standard Practice for Probable Maximum Loss (PML) Evaluations for Earthquake Due Diligence Assessments is one of the standards used for assessing the risk of a building for damageability and losses during an earthquake.  The ASTM E2557-07 Standard emphasizes evaluation of financial risk from earthquake damage to buildings.
