Partner performs complete lead in drinking water sampling services for both public and private clients, which may run concurrently with our environmental site assessments (ESAs). Lead in drinking water sampling is performed in accordance with EPA guidelines; however, other authorities, such as those run on the state level, have additional requirements for the testing of lead in drinking water.
Partner also provides valuable recommendations to mitigate lead in drinking water issues in the event that analytical results are above the EPA action level or other applicable standards. The mitigation action level is either suggested or required in a state.
Contact Partner to learn how we can help you stay in compliance with regulatory requirements.
The landscape of state requirements and programs for lead in water testing changes frequently, so it is important to ensure you have an experienced and knowledgeable team of professionals. States that have specific requirements for lead in drinking water sampling include, but are not limited to, New York, Arizona, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont and North Carolina.
Sampling for lead may be performed as a result of due diligence/Phase I Assessments, or regulatory requirements for daycares, public school districts, charter schools, renaissance schools, and jointure commissions, educational services commissions.
Partner does more than just collect samples for lead and other constituents. We ensure that the sampling methodology and procedures are compliant with the applicable regulations. For sampling drinking water in schools, Partner utilizes EPA’s “3 T’s for Reducing Lead in Drinking Water in Schools”, which includes developing lead sampling plans and quality assurance project plans. If sample results are above the EPA’s action level, Partner will work with you to determine appropriate next steps and remediation options, which may include resampling, developing flushing plans, or replacing piping.
